The only true public course is the nine-hole Japeri Golfe Clube in Rio de Janeiro founded 2005. The field, with nine holes, is situated 50 minutes from the city of Rio de Janeiro, near Nova Dutra. But they will probably build a new course for the Olympics when Golf will be one of the new games.
