The pope visit Rio de Janeiro

The pope Franciscus visited Rio de Janiero at his first visit after he was elected. He visited Catholic World Youth Day in Brazil which is considered the largest roman catholic country, before he continued to Argentina. There were music, dancing and lots of other manifestations when the Pope arrived in Rio de Janeiro. Pope Francis finished a weeklong Brazil Traveling with a giant church Fair with three million people. On Copacabana he met two million people and urged them to continue the fight against corruption. He issued his first social manifesto when visiting Varginha, one of many favelas, shantytowns.
